1. The disparity between Edna being blind and Virgie seeing, did not affect the two women being best friends.

2. Before Taylor had seen Edna Poppy with a seeing stick, she never would have differentiated her from any seeing person.

3. The heterogeneous ways of Taylor being stable and Lou Ann's insecurity eventually led them to be the perfect roommates and the best of friends.

1. Lou Ann's grandmother and her neighbor Ms. Parsons are very analogous because they are both sometimes negative and come off looking mean but Lou Ann knows that both of them really have a good heart deep down.

2. The disparity between Taylor and Esperanza is extremely great. Taylor has hardly ever had any GREAT sadness or something taken from her when Esperanza was kicked out of her own country and her little girl was taken from her.

3. The nuance in Taylor throughout the book is made greater and greater as Taylor begins to change a little more everyday.

1. Taylor and Esperanza are heterogeneous in which Taylor say what’s on her mind whereas Esperanza is more reserved.

2. Turtle has a nuance throughout the story. She starts out quiet and only clings to things. Later in the book she starts talking and doesn’t stop!

3. The importance of Turtle’s first word (bean) and the fact that she actually said a word is tantamount.

1. Even though it is easy to differentiate between Luann and Taylor physically, mentally they both share many characteristics.

2. Taylor is an example of a nuance in that she has grown to be a able girl capable of raising Turtle.

3. The disparity between Turtle when she first was introduced to Taylor and the condition she is in now is very great.

1) There is an antithesis and an analogous between Lou Ann's and Taylor's parenting style. Lou Ann is more uptight, strict, and very protective over Dwayne-Ray. Where as Taylor is more free will and letting Turtle do her own thing, but they both still adore their children very much.

2) Mattie does not deviate from her role as a host to a safe haven, where as Taylor does deviate on her quest to find another haven for Estevan and Esperanza.

3)The Bean Trees has a comparable theme of growing up with The Catcher in The Rye

1. The antithesis between Lou Ann and Taylor is that Lou Ann is depressed throughout most of the book and Taylor is upbeat and positive.

2. Sandy and Taylor are comparable because they both have kids they didn't necessarily want but still love.

3. The disparity between Mattie's shop and Lou Ann's apartment was quite evident, from the scattered items and the orderly neat home of Lou Ann and Taylor.

1. As Angel became harder to deal with, Lou Ann became annoyed and deviated him from her life by getting a divorce.

2. Lou Ann believes that she and Taylor are compareable, because when she first met her she felt that the way they talked was exactly the same.

3. The nuance in Turtle becomes greater as the story progresses and time drifts farther away from when she was abused.

1. Turtle and Esperanza both share comparable traits because their harsh backgrounds has caused them to become so reclusive.

2. Towards the end of the story, Turtle slightly deviates from Taylor and extends her interaction to Esperanza and Estevan.

3. Around the last chapter, Taylor wants Turtle not to call everyone "Ma" because she loved Turtle the most and was not tantamount with everyone else.

1. Taylor is analogous to Lou Ann because now they are both single mothers that need to face some of the same challenges.

2. The disparity between Taylor's and Turtle's age was very drastic. This would be why people could have mistake Taylor for Turtle's mom.

3. Taylor felt as if she was not tantamount to everyone else when it came to Turtle. She felt as if she was more important to Turtle rather than anyone else.

Taylor and Lou Ann are very comparable. They are around the same age, they are both single mothers, and they moved away from their parents. They also hang around each other a lot and like to do the same things.

The disparity between Edna Poppy and Lou Ann really sticks out throughout the novel. Lou Ann is younger and she isn't blind. She also has the ability to go out and find herself a job.

3) The differentiation between Taylor and Mattie comes out when they meet one another. I could tell that Mattie was older and actually cared about others. Taylor was more to herself and not as open to the world or other people.

1. Lou Ann and Taylor are homogenous in their attitudes and speech: they could've been sisters.

2.Although Edna Poppy is the antithesis of Ms. Parsons, they cannot live without each other.

3. Taylor deviated from her fear of being a single mother and accepted Turtle.

Taylor and Lou Ann are comparable by both not having husband with a kid, they both get along, and they both want the best for their kids.

When Taylor and Lou Ann fought after Turtle and Edna got attacked in the park, they were antithesis of how to take and handle the situation.

Taylor was jealous because Turtle and esperanza were homogeneous and looked like they should be mother and daughter, they bonded in a special way.
